 NOTE: The P10 AFC panel is the Automatic Flight Control panel.
____ The P10 AFC panel has two EFIS control panels, an EICAS display-select panel, and an AFCS mode-control panel. It is necessary to remove these control panels before you remove the pilots' glare shield.
 C.  A cover is below the pilots' glare shield on the left and right sides. Electrical connectors, air duct hoses, and fasteners are behind the covers. It is necessary to remove the covers to get to the electrical connectors, the air duct hoses, and the fasteners.
 D.  There are two P72 lightshield panels on the aft outboard sides of the pilots' glare shield. It is not necessary to remove the P72 lightshield panels when you remove the pilots' glare shield. Crash pads and a checklist holder are also on the pilots' glare shield. The crash pads are on the aft side of the glare shield. The checklist holder is on the top side of the glare shield.

 (5)  Remove the two covers below the pilots' glare shield. (a) Remove the screws and washers (8 locations) at each cover. (b) Remove the covers.

 (6)  Disconnect these electrical connectors from the bracket which is below the pilots' glare shield on the left side: (a) D10003P (b) D10004P
