1. General_______
A. The Equipment/Furnishings chapter includes removable items installed in the airplane for the comfort and convenience of crewmembers and passengers; for handling and stowing cargo; and for ensuring passenger and crew safety in an emergency.
B. Information for passenger/cargo equipment and furnishings is included in the following major sections:
(1)
Equipment/Furnishings, 25-00-00, provides information on cleaning and repairing equipment/furnishings generally common to the flight and passenger compartments, galleys, lavatories and cargo compartments.
(2)
Flight Compartment, 25-10-00, provides information on crew seats, compartment linings, insulation, floor coverings and other removable items within the flight compartment.
(3)
Passenger Compartments, 25-20-00, provides information on seats, partitions, service units, closets, linings, insulation, floor coverings, and stowage compartments within the main and upper deck passenger compartments.
(4)
Buffets/Galleys, 25-30-00, provides information on all galleys and bar units installed in the airplane.
