 (k)  Make sure the clearance between the aft stop-blocks and the aft
 bogie unit is 0.030-0.120 inches.
 1) If the clearance between the aft bogie unit and the aft
 stop-blocks is less than 0.030 inch, adjust the aft
 microswitch down (AMM 25-11-00/201).
 2) If the clearance between the aft bogie unit and the aft
 stop-blocks is greater than 0.120 inch, adjust the aft
 microswitch up (AMM 25-11-00/201).
 (l)  Use the manual control lever to make sure the seat will move
 forward.
 (m)  Use the power control switch to do these steps:
 1) Make sure the seat moves from the fully aft to the fully
 forward position in 5-9 seconds.
 2) Make sure the seat moves from the fully forward to the
 fully aft position in 5-9 seconds.
 3) Do the procedure to adjust the bogie units if the seat
 movement is too tight or too loose.
 (n)  Put the emergency power cutoff switch to the OFF position.
 (o)  Use the power control switch to make sure the seat will not
 move in the forward or aft direction.
 (p)  Put the emergency power cutoff switch to the ON position.
 1) Use the vertical power control switch to make sure the seat
 will move up and down.
 (q)  Use the vertical power control switch to move the seat to the
 fully down position.
 (r)  Release the switch.

 (s)  
Make sure the seat locks in the fully down position.

 (t)  
Use the vertical power control switch to make sure the seat moves from the fully down to the fully up position in 5-9 seconds.

 (u)  
Put the emergency power cutoff switch to the OFF position.

 (v)  
Use the vertical power control switch to make sure the seat will not move up or down.

 (w)  
Put the emergency power cutoff switch to the ON position.

 (1)  
If the Captain or First Officer seats are installed, do the steps to remove the applicable seat (AMM 25-11-01/401).

 (2)
Do the steps that follow to install and adjust the seat tracks:

 (a)  
Make sure the flight deck floor is clear of all foreign objects, both between and around the seat tracks.

 (b)  
If the seat track is installed, loosen the seat track mounting bolts.

 (c)  
Put the seat track setting fixture in position over the seat tracks.

 (d)  
Apply a downward pressure to the seat track setting fixture.

 

 NOTE: The locating pins of the fixture should fully engage in
____ the holes in the top surface of each track.

 (e)  
Tighten all the mounting bolts that you can get access to around the edge of the fixture.

 (f)  
Remove the fixture.

 (g)  
Tighten the remaining mounting bolts.

 A. General
