1 INSTALL THE BOLT WITH THE BOLTHEAD ON THE SIDE OF THE BRAKE RODS THAT IS FARTHEST FROM THE TRUCK BEAM. THE BOLTHEAD AND THE GREASE FITTING MUST POINT OUT, IN RELATION TO THE TRUCK BEAM.
2 INSTALL THE BOLT WITH THE BOLTHEAD ON THE SIDE OF THE TORQUE ARM THAT IS NEAREST TO THE TRUCK BEAM. THE BOLTHEAD MUST POINT IN, IN RELATION TO THE TRUCK BEAM.

_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do these steps to remove the brake rod:
(a)
Open the applicable circuit breaker shown and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag(s):
NOTE: The numbers after the words TORQUE LIMIT show the
____ wheel numbers of the main landing gear to which the circuit applies. Figure 401 shows the wheel numbers of the main landing gear.
1) P180 DC Power Distribution Panel a) 180J9 TORQUE LIMIT 1, 5, 9, 13 b) 180F9 TORQUE LIMIT 2, 6, 10, 14 c) 180J24 TORQUE LIMIT 3, 7, 11, 15 d) 180F24 TORQUE LIMIT 4, 8, 12, 16
(b) Disconnect the applicable connector from the panel below the landing gear truck beam.
