DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE
QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS
CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

PARKING BRAKE SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the parking brake switch (referred to as the switch)
(2)
The installation of the parking brake switch.
B.
The switch, S313, is installed under the upper deck floor in the forward passenger cabin forward of door No. 1.

Prepare to Remove the Switch

Make sure the chocks are installed at all wheels.

Release the parking brake.

Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6L18 PARK BRAKE

Remove the fourth middle and left ceiling panels in the passenger compartment forward of door No. 1 (AMM 25-22-01/401).

Remove the Switch
(1)
Disconnect the electrical wires from the switch.

Remove the screws, washers and nuts that hold the switch and spacer to the structure.
(3)
Remove the switch and spacer.
