C. Prepare for the Removal

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASKS BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
(3)
Make sure that the chocks are installed at all the wheels.

Remove the pressure from hydraulic system No. 4 and the reservoir (AMM 29-11-00/201).
(5)
Release the parking brake.

Release hydraulic fluid from the brake accumulator with these steps:
(a)
Push on the brake pedals fully 10 times.
(b)
Look at the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage on the captain's instrument panel, and make sure the pressure stays the same after the last time you press the brake pedals.

Remove the Inlet Filter (Normal Antiskid Module) (Fig. 205)

Remove the four screws (1) and the filter cover (2) from the normal antiskid module.

Remove the O-ring (9) and the retainers (8) from the cover, and discard the O-ring.

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO KEEP CONTAMINATION OUT OF THE PORTS OF THE
_______ ANTISKID MODULE. CONTAMINATION CAN CAUSE A MALFUNCTION OF THE NORMAL ANTISKID MODULE.
(3)
Pull the filter (3) from the alternate antiskid module.

Remove the retainers (10) and the O-ring (11) from the filter, and discard the O-rings.
(5)
Install a plug in the hole in the module.
