Do these steps to do a test of the primary and alternate air/ground input to the BSCU for the autobrake system:
(a)
If necessary, release the parking brake.
(b)
Make sure that all three inertial reference systems are aligned (AMM 34-21-00/201).
(c)
Make sure that all thrust levers are set to the aft stop.
(d)
Make sure that the SPEED BRAKE lever is in the DOWN position.
WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO
_______ PREPARE THE SAFETY-SENSITIVE SYSTEMS FOR THE AIR MODE. FAILURE TO DO THE STEPS CORRECTLY CAN CAUSE THE AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF AIRPLANE SYSTEMS. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(e) Do this task: "Prepare Safety-Sensitive Systems for Air Mode Simulation" (AMM 32-09-02/201).
WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO PUT
_______ THE AIR/GROUND RELAY SYSTEM IN THE AIR MODE. A FAILURE TO DO THE STEPS CORRECTLY CAN CAUSE THE AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF AIRPLANE SYSTEMS. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(f)
Do this task: "Put the Air/Ground Relay Systems to the Air Mode" (AMM 32-09-02/201).
(g)
Remove the proximity switch actuators from these alternate air ground switches on the nose, wing, and main gear: 1) S613, S614, S801 (Actuators on right side) or, 2) S612, S615, S801 (Actuators on left side)

(h) (i) Push the <BRAKE SYSTEM BITE LSK.Ignore the instructions of the TEST PRECONDITIONS screen and push the START TEST> LSK.
NOTE:____ The CDU will show test configuration error indications next.
(j) Make sure that the CDU shows this configuration error indication: 1) PRIMARY AIR/GROUND INPUT TO BSCU IS IN AIR MODE.
NOTE:____ Push the CONTINUE> LSK until you find the configuration error indication above.
(k) (l) (m) (n) Remove the switch actuators from all the air/ground sensors.Install proximity switch actuators on these alternate air/ground sensors: 1) S612 Left Body Gear 2) S615 Left Wing Gear 3) S801 Nose GearPush the <BRAKE SYSTEM BITE LSK.Ignore the instructions of the TEST PRECONDITIONS screen and push the START TEST> LSK.
NOTE:____ The CDU will show test configuration error indications next.
(o) Make sure that the CDU shows this configuration error indication: 1) ALTERNATE AIR/GROUND INPUT TO BSCU IS IN AIR MODE
NOTE:____ Push the CONTINUE> LSK until you find the configuration error indication above.
(p) Push the <RETURN LSK until the GROUND TESTS menu shows.
