Clean the mating surfaces between the parking brake module and the mounting bracket to make an electrical bond.

(1)
Install the parking brake module.
(a)
Hold the parking brake module in its position on the mounting bracket.
(b)
Install 4 bolts, washers and nuts.
1) Tighten the bolts to 40-50 pound-inches.
(c)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the parking brake module (3 locations).
(d)
Connect the electrical connector DV23 to the electric motor on the parking brake module.

Measure the resistance between the Parking Brake Module and the mounting bracket (AMM 20-22-01/601).
(a)
Make sure the resistance is not more than 0.0025 ohm.
(b)
If the resistance is more than 0.0025 ohm, clean the mating surfaces: 1) Remove the parking brake module 2) Clean the mating surfaces 3) Install the parking brake module 4) Measure the resistance again

Make sure the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET shows on the EICAS display.
(c)
Make sure that the red manual override lever on the parking brake module is in POS 1.
(d)
Release the parking brake.
(e)
Make sure the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET does not show on the EICAS display.
(f)
Make sure that the PARKING BRAKE DISAGREE and ANTISKID OFF indications do not show on EICAS.
(g)
Make sure that the red manual override lever on the parking brake module is in POS 2.
