BRAKE ROD AND BRAKE TORQUE SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the brake rod. The second task installs the brake rod.
B. The brake rods are found on the underside of the wheel truck and run from the inner cylinder yoke to the brake torque arm next to each wheel. The removal and installation of the brake torque sensor is done with the removal and installation of the brake rod. More line maintenance of the brake torque sensor is not necessary.
C. The Support Ring for the Brake Rod is used to hold the Brake Rod should it become disconnected at either end.
