2) The tire has damage 3) The tire is unusually hot 4) The wheel has damage 5) One or more of the tie bolts have damage or are missing. 6) If you find one or more of these conditions you must
deflate the tire.
(b) Deflate the tire:
WARNING: WHEN YOU REMOVE THE VALVE ASSEMBLY, MAKE SURE THAT
_______ ALL PERSONS ARE CLEAR OF THE PATH OF THE VALVE. THE VALVE CAN BLOW OFF AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT APPLY TOO MUCH FORCE WHEN
_______ YOU TURN THE VALVE CORE. TOO MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE THE CORE PARTS TO COME APART AND LET SLEEVE AND THE LOWER END OF THE POPPET STAY IN THE VALVE STEM.
1) If the valve core has damage and you can not remove the pressure from the tire with the tire deflation tool, do the steps that follow: a) Turn the valve assembly counterclockwise slowly, at the
boss, until the gas begins to leak through the boss. b) Push lightly on the valve stem to release the gas.
NOTE: Do not remove the valve assembly until all the
____ gas is released from the tire.
c) Remove the valve assembly from the tire after all the pressure in the tire has been released. 2) Remove the pressure from the tire with the tire deflation tool.
F. Remove the Tire/Wheel Assembly for the Nose Gear

(1) Remove the clamp (12) and remove the hubcap (13) from the wheel (1).

WARNING: IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU REMOVE ONLY ONE WHEEL/TIRE
_______ ASSEMBLY FROM THE NOSE GEAR AT A TIME. IF YOU REMOVE THE TWO WHEEL/TIRE ASSEMBLIES FROM THE NOSE GEAR AT THE SAME TIME, STRUCTURAL DAMAGE AND/OR INJURY TO PERSONS CAN OCCUR IF THE AIRPLANE FALLS.

Do the steps that follow to remove the tire/wheel assembly from the nose landing gear:
(a)
Remove the nuts (8), washers (9) and lockbolts (11) and remove the guide block (10) from the axle.
