BRAKE PEDAL BUS SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the switch for the brake pedal bus. The second task installs the switch for the brake pedal bus.
B. No adjustments are necessary when you replace the switch because the adjustments are controlled by the attach holes that were drilled in the support beam when the first switch was installed.

Open this circuit breaker and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a)
P180 DC Power Distribution Panel
1) 180J25 AUTOBRAKE

Remove the fourth center ceiling panels in the passenger compartment forward of the No. 1 entry door (AMM 25-22-01/401).
(3)
Disconnect the wires (2 locations) from the terminals on the switch.

(4)
Remove the nuts, washers and bolts (3 locations) that attach the switch support bracket to the support beam, and remove the switch from the airplane.

(1)
Put the switch assembly in its position on the support beam and install three bolts, washers and nuts.
(a)
Install the bolts, the nuts and the washers (2 locations) on the aft flange of the switch support bracket but do not tighten them.
(b)
Turn the switch assembly until you can install the bolt through the forward flange of the switch support bracket and the mating hole in the support beam.
(c)
Tighten the bolts (3 locations).
(2)
Connect the wires to the external terminals on the switch.
