Disconnect the pushrod (6) from the lever on the torque tube assembly (8).

Remove the nut (2) from the outboard end of the torque tube assembly (8).
(e)
Remove the three nuts (9), the washers (10) and the screws (3).
(f)
Remove the bearing assembly (11).
(g)
Remove the nut (2) from the inboard end of the torque tube assembly (8).
(h)
Remove the three nuts (9), washers (10) and screws (3).
(i)
Remove the bearing assembly (1).
(j)
Move the ends of the torque tube assembly (8) out of the mounting holes in the structure.
(k)
Remove the torque tube assembly (8) from the airplane.

Remove the counter shaft (21) and lever (14) and lever (28).

Remove the nut (19), washer (18) and screw (16).
(b)
Disconnect the rod assembly (17) from the inboard lever (14).
(c)
Remove the nut (31), washer (32) and screw (15).
(d)
Pull the inboard lever (14) from the counter shaft (21).
(e)
Remove two nuts (22), washers (23) and screws (25).
(f)
Remove the inboard bearing housing (20).
(g)
Remove the nut (26), washer (27) and lockbolt (32) from the outboard lever (28).
(h)
Pull the outboard lever (28), with the pushrod (6) attached, from the counter shaft (21).
(i)
Remove the nut (31), washer (30) and screw (29).
(j)
Remove the pushrod (6) from the outboard lever (28).
(k)
Remove two nuts (22), washers (23) and bolts (25).
(l)
Remove the outboard bearing assembly (24).
(m)
Remove the counter shaft (21) from mounting holes in the structure.

Install the counter shaft (21) and the levers.

Put the counter shaft (21) in its position in the mounting holes in the structure.

Install the inboard bearing housing (20). 1) Hold the counter shaft (21) in its position. 2) Move the bearing through the shaft. 3) Use two screws (25), washers (23) and nuts (22) to attach
the bearing housing to the structure.
(c)
Install the outboard bearing housing (24). 1) Move the bearing in the housing on the end of the counter shaft (21).
2) Install two screws (25), washers (23) and nuts (22) to attach the bearing housing to the structure.
NOTE: Make sure that the shorter screw is on the aft side
____
of the bearing housing.
(d)
Use the screw (15), washer (32) and nut (31) to install the inboard lever (14) on the counter shaft (21).
(e)
Use the screw (16), washer (18), and nut (19) to connect the rod assembly (17) to the inboard lever (14).
(f)
Install the pushrod (6) to the outboard lever (28) with the screw (29), washer (30) and nut (31).
(g)
Install the outboard lever (28) on the counter shaft (21) with the lockbolt (32), washer (27) and nut (26).
