(A) TRANSVERSE CUTS THAT ARE CONTAINED (B) CUTS THAT EXTEND ACROSS A RIB FROM WITHIN A RIB AND PENETRATE INTO THE GROOVE TO GROOVE WHICH ARE DEEPER CARCASS PLIES (BIAS) OR BELT PLIES THAN THE GROOVE ARE NOT SERVICEABLE. (RADIAL) ARE NOT SERVICEABLE.

RIB UNDERCUTS GROOVE CRACKS
TIRES WITH A CRACK THAT EXTENDS BELOW TIRES WITH CIRCUMFERENTIAL CRACKS AT THE BOTTOM
