PARKING BRAKE VALVE ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the assembly of the parking brake valve (referred to as the valve assembly)
(2)
The installation of the valve assembly.
B.
The valve assembly is installed on the parking brake module. It contains the parking brake valve and an electric motor. The parking brake module is installed on the keel beam in the wheel well for the right body landing gear. The electric motor stays on the valve assembly during the removal and the installation. For a removal/installation of the electric motor see AMM 32-44-08/401.
C.
During this procedure, you must make sure that contamination does not go into the module.
