Do these steps to do a test of the Right Brake Metered Pressure Switch, S280: 1) Set the AUTOBRAKES selector switch to one of the five
possible positions that arm the system for landing (1, 2,
3, 4, or MAX AUTO).
2) Do these steps to test the pressure switch:
a) Push on one of the right brake pedals slowly until the pressure gage on the right side brake shows 800 to 1500 psig.
b) Make sure that the AUTOBRAKES selector switch moves to the DISARM position. The AUTOBRAKES selector switch must move to the DISARM position when the pressure gage on the right side brake shows 650 to 850 psig.
3) Push the <BRAKE SYSTEM BITE LSK. 4) Ignore the instructions of the TEST PRECONDITIONS screen and push the START TEST> LSK.
NOTE: The CDU will show test configuration error

5) Make sure that the CDU shows the configuration error indication RIGHT BRAKE PRESSURE SWITCH HIGH.
NOTE: Push the CONTINUE> LSK until you find the
____ configuration error indication above.

6) Push the <RETURN LSK until the GROUND TESTS menu shows.
(i) Do these steps to do a test of the Left Brake Metered Pressure Switch, S281: 1) Set the AUTOBRAKES selector switch to one of the five

Do these steps to do a test of the Left and Right Brake Pedal Switches, S1595 and S1596:
(a)
Make sure that all three inertial reference systems are aligned (AMM 34-21-00/001).

(b)
If necessary, release the parking brake.
(c)
Make sure that all thrust levers are set to the aft stop.
(d)
Make sure the landing gear control handle is in the DOWN/EXTEND position.
(e)
Make sure that the SPEED BRAKE lever is in the DOWN position.
(f)
Set the AUTOBRAKES selector switch to the RTO position.
(g)
Push a set of brake pedals (a left and a right) to the limit of travel, and hold them in this position.
(h)
Make sure that the AUTOBRAKES selector switch stays in the RTO position, and does not move to the OFF position.
(i)
Push the <BRAKE SYSTEM BITE LSK.
(j)
Ignore the instructions of the TEST PRECONDITIONS screen and push the START TEST> LSK.
