Look at the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage on the captain's instrument panel.

Push on the brake pedals fully 10 times.
(c)
Make sure the pressure does not decrease the last time you operate the brake pedals.

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO KEEP CONTAMINATION OUT OF THE PARKING BRAKE
_______ MODULE ASSEMBLY. CONTAMINATION CAN CAUSE A MALFUNCTION OF THE PARKING BRAKE MODULE.
(1)
Remove the valve assembly.
(a)
Disconnect the DV23 electrical connector from the electric motor on the parking brake module.
(b)
Put a cap on the plug and the receptacle.
(c)
Remove four cap screws that attach the valve assembly to the module.
(d)
Pull the valve assembly for the parking brake from the parking brake module.
(e)
Remove the six backup rings and the three O-rings.
(f)
Discard the O-rings.

(2) Put a plug on the hole in the parking brake module.

(2) Install the O-rings and backup rings on the valve assembly.

Install the valve assembly.
(a)
Put the valve assembly into the parking brake module.
CAUTION: DO NOT TURN THE PARKING BRAKE VALVE ASSEMBLY WHEN YOU
_______ PUSH IT INTO THE PARKING BRAKE MODULE. YOU CAN EASILY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BACKUP RINGS AND O-RINGS.
1) Align the valve assembly until the electrical connector points down in a straight direction. 2) Align the holes in the valve assembly with the holes in the parking brake module.
(b)
Carefully push the valve assembly into the parking brake module.
(c)
Install 4 cap screws and tighten them to 40-60 pound-inches.
(d)
Install a lockwire.
(e)
Connect the electrical connector DV23 to the electric motor on the parking brake module.
