WARNING:_______ YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE
QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS
CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6L18 PARK BRAKE

Install chocks at all wheels.

Release the parking brake.

Make sure that the PARKING BRAKE ON indication does not show on the EICAS.

Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Remove pressure from hydraulic system 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Release hydraulic fluid from the brake accumulator:
(a)
Look at the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage on the captain's instrument panel.
(b)
Push on the brake pedals fully 10 times.
(c)
Make sure the pressure does not decrease the last time you operate the brake pedals.

Procedure

(1)
Remove the parking brake module.
(a)
Disconnect the DV23 electrical connector from the electric motor on the parking brake module.
(b)
Put a cap on the plug and the receptacle.
(c)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines (3 locations) from the parking brake module.
(d)
Hold the parking brake module and remove 4 nuts, washers and bolts.
(e)
Remove the parking brake module from the mounting bracket.

(2) Remove the adapters from the module and discard the O-rings.
