G. Prepare for the Installation

(1) Make sure the ground locks are installed in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do the applicable task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" or "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

CAUTION: DO NOT USE CLEANING FLUIDS OR SOLVENTS TO REMOVE UNWANTED
_______ GREASE FROM THE AXLES WHERE A BRAKE IS INSTALLED. CONTAMINATION ENTERING THE BRAKE CAN RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE CARBON HEATSINK.

Use a rag to remove the unwanted grease from the axle (Fig. 401).

Use a rag to remove the unwanted grease from the inner diameter of the brake between the outboard end and the inboard partition that has holes (Fig. 401).
