(b)
Push the two brake pedals fully until the stops limit the travel of the brake pedal, and hold the pedals in this position.
(c)
Put a 0.22 to 0.25-inch shim between the parking brake pawl and the pawl stops on the bellcrank.
(d)
Slowly pull on the parking brake handle until the parking brake pawl touches the shim and hold it in this position.
(e)
Do a check for continuity between the C and the NO terminals.
NOTE: The electrical wires must be disconnected when you do a
____
continuity check.
(f) If there no is continuity, bend the tab on the switch actuator until there is continuity.
NOTE: When the switch adjustment is correct, the switch will
____ operate to the closed position when the pawl lobe on the parking brake pawl is between 0.22 and 0.25 inch from the pawl stop on the bellcrank as shown in detail D.
(g)
Remove the rig pins.
(h)
Push the brake pedals to release the parking brake.
(i)
Remove the 0.22 to 0.25-inch shim.
(j)
Do a check for continuity between the C and the NO terminals.

(k) If there is continuity, bend the tab on the switch actuator until there is no continuity.
NOTE: Bend the tab away from the switch plunger to remove the
____ preload (a clearance of +0.005/-0.005 inch between the switch plunger and the switch actuator striker is permitted (detail H)).
(l)
Connect the electrical wires to the switch.
(m)
Push the two brake pedals fully until the stops limit the travel of the brake pedals and pull the parking brake handle.
(n)
Make sure the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET shows on the EICAS display.
(o)
If the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET does not show, then do the adjustment procedure again.
(p)
Push the two brake pedals to release the parking brake.
(q)
Make sure the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET does not show on the EICAS display.
(r)
If the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET shows, then do the adjustment procedure again.
