You can use tires with different ply, speed or load ratings on the same axle if these conditions are obeyed:
(a)
The size of the tires are the same
(b)
The tires are inflated to the same pressure
(c)
The tire pressure (in the table) is not more than the pressure for a tire that has a load (the weight of the airplane is on the tires)
(d)
The operation speed is not more than the speed rating of the tires.

The tire pressures specified for the nose and main gear tires are for airplane operation at the maximum taxi gross weight. For airplane operation at less than the maximum taxi gross weight, you can change the tire pressures as shown in Landing Gear Tires -Servicing (AMM 12-15-06/301) Refer to Landing Gear Tires - Servicing (AMM 12-15-06/301) to service the tires.

The tire pressures shown in the tables are for tires that are cold and have a load on them. Decrease the pressure by 4 percent for tires that do not have a load on them. The tolerance for the tire pressure is +5/-0 psig.
