Use the ST2584C wrench to connect the disconnected sensor.
(g)
Tighten the coupling nut on the sensor connector to 55-65 pound- inches.
(h)
Make sure the EICAS synoptic display shows a brake temperature indication for all wheel positions.
(i)
Do the same steps again for the sensors at the remaining wheel positions. 1) Use the PREVIOUS PAGE key on the control display unit to
see the EXISTING FAULTS indication for each subsequent sensor.
(j)
After you do the test for the 16 temperature sensors, make sure there are no EXISTING FAULTS for the BTMS.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Remove the electrical power if it is necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

BRAKE TEMPERATURE SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This airplane uses sixteen brake temperature sensors. Each main wheel location has one sensor. All the brake temperature sensors are the same and are removed and installed in this procedure.
B. Remove the brake temperature sensor when the Central Maintenance Computer isolates a fault to a failed temperature sensor.
