ANTISKID TRANSDUCER COUPLING - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
___________________________________________________
1. General_______
A. The antiskid transducer coupling connects the transducer shaft to the hubcap to make sure the shaft turns with the wheel. The coupling is installed in the inner side of the hubcap and bolts attach it to the hubcap. A cup is installed on the end of the coupling. A spring inside the coupling pushes the cup to engage a dog on the transducer shaft.
B. You must remove the hubcap assembly to remove the coupling. Then remove the coupling.
C. Install the coupling in the opposite sequence to its removal.

Remove the Antiskid Transducer Coupling (Fig. 401)

Do the steps that follow to remove the hubcap assembly:
(a)
Remove the clamp.
(b)
Pull the hubcap off the wheel.

Remove two bolts at the rear of the hubcap and remove the coupling from the hubcap.
