Prepare for the Removal

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Install chocks at all wheels.

Release the parking brake.

Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6L18 PARK BRAKE

Procedure

(1)
Do these steps to remove the motor:
(a)
Disconnect the DV23 electrical connector from the motor.
(b)
Put a cap on the plug and the receptacle.
CAUTION: DO NOT MOVE THE MANUAL OVERRIDE LEVER WHEN THE MOTOR HAS
_______ ELECTRICAL POWER. THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR.
(c)
Move the manual override lever on the motor to POS 2.
(d)
Remove the four mounting screws from the motor.
(e)
Remove the three washers and the lug.
(f)
Remove the motor from the parking brake module.
(g)
If there is an identification plate for the parking brake module on the motor, remove the identification plate.
(h)
Keep the identification plate with the parking brake module.
