PARKING BRAKE LEVER ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the assembly of the parking brake lever
(2)
The installation of the assembly of the parking brake lever.
B.
The assembly of the parking brake lever is installed on the left side of the control stand. Access to remove the lever is through the left side panel of the control stand. Access to disconnect the lower end of the pushrod is through the ceiling panel of the main deck.
C.
To remove the lever, you must disconnect the pushrod. You must also remove the screw that attaches the lever to the control stand.
D.
After you install the lever, you will adjust the pushrod to set the position of the lever.

Install chocks at all wheels.
(2)
Release the parking brake.
