Install a lockwire to safety the pressure switch to the shuttle valve.

Prepare the applicable surface of the shuttle valve for an electrical bond with the related surface of the support bracket (SWPM 20-20-00).

Prepare the applicable surface of the support bracket for an electrical bond with the related surface of the shuttle valve (SWPM 20-20-00).

Do these steps to install the shuttle valve:
(a)
Put the shuttle valve in its installed position on the airplane.
(b)
Install the four sets of bolts, nuts and washers that attach the shuttle valve to the support bracket.
(c)
If it is necessary, remove the cap on the receptacle of the pressure switch.
(d)
Remove the cap from the plug of the wire bundle.
(e)
Connect the applicable electrical connector:
DS280 - to connect the right shuttle valve DS281 - to connect the left shuttle valve.
(f)
Do a check of the electrical resistance between the shuttle valve and the support bracket as follows: 1) The resistance between the shuttle valve and the support
bracket must be 0.0025 ohm or less.
(g)
Remove the caps or plugs that are on the ends of the open hydraulic lines.
(h)
Connect the three hydraulic lines to the shuttle valve.
