Make sure that the AUTOBRAKE selector switch is set to the OFF position.

Do these steps to do an operational test of the Brake System Control Unit (BSCU):
(a)
Make sure that the GND TESTS switch, on the Overhead Maintenance Panel, P461, or in the Main Equipment Center is in the ENABLE position.
(b)
Push the line select key that is adjacent to GROUND TESTS on an available Control Display Unit (CDU).
(c)
Push the line select key that is adjacent to 32 BRAKE SYSTEMS on the CDU.
(d)
Push the line select key that is adajcent to BRAKE SYSTEM BITE test on the CDU.
(e)
Push the line-select key that is adjacent to <START TEST.
(f)
Push the line-select key that is adjacent to CONTINUE twice on the CDU.
(g)
Make sure that the CDU display shows IN PROGRESS.
(h)
Make sure that the CDU display shows NO ACTIVE BRAKE SOURCE ACCUMULATOR ACTIVE.
(i)
Push the line-select key that is adjacent to CONTINUE on the CDU.
(j)
Make sure that the CDU display shows NO POWER TO A/B.
(k)
Push the line-select key that is adjacent to CONTINUE on the CDU.
(l)
Make sure that the CDU display shows SYSTEM TEST COMPLETED.
(m)
Push the line-select key that is adjacent to RETURN on the CDU to go back to the Ground Test Menu page.
NOTE: A FAIL message may appear adjacent to <BRAKE SYSTEM

(a)

(b) Push the line-select key that is adjacent to <START TEST.
(c) Push the line-select key that is adjacent to CONTINUE on the
CDU.
(d) Push the pilot's right brake pedal to the stop.
(e) Push the line-select key that is adjacent to CONTINUE on the
CDU.
(f) Make sure that the CDU display shows RIGHT BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH
DEPRESSED.
(g) Release the right brake pedal.
(h) Push the line-select key that is adjacent to RETURN on the CDU
to go back to the Ground Test Menu page.
NOTE:____ A FAIL message may appear adjacent to <BRAKE SYSTEM
BITE.

(d)
Push the pilots' left brake pedal to the stop.

Push the line-select key that is adjacent to CONTINUE on the CDU.

Make sure that the CDU display shows LEFT BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH DEPRESSED.
(g)
Release the left brake pedal.
(h)
Push the line-select key that is adjacent to RETURN on the CDU to go back to the Ground Test Menu page.
