 D. Remove the Shuttle Valve
 S 022-068
 (1)  
Do these steps to remove the shuttle valve:

 (a)  
Disconnect the three hydraulic lines from the shuttle valve.

 (b)  
Put caps or plugs on the ends of the open hydraulic lines.

 (c)  
Disconnect the applicable electrical connector:

 DS280 - to disconnect the right shuttle valve DS281 - to disconnect the left shuttle valve.

 (d)  
Put a cap on the plug of the wire bundle.

 (e)  
Put a cap on the receptacle of the pressure switch.

 (f)  
Remove the four sets of bolts, nuts and washers that attach the shuttle valve to the support bracket.

 (g)  
Remove the shuttle valve from the airplane.

Remove the lockwire that safeties the pressure switch to the shuttle valve.

 (3)  
Remove the pressure switch from the shuttle valve.

 (4)  
Remove the O-rings and the backup rings from the pressure switch and discard the O-rings.

 (5)  
Remove the adapters from the shuttle valve.

 (6)  
Remove the O-rings and the backup rings from the adapters and discard the O-rings.

 (7)  
Put plugs in the open ports of the shuttle valve.

 E. Install the Shuttle Valve

 (1)  
If it is necessary, remove the plugs in the ports of the shuttle valve.

 (2)  
Lubricate the O-rings and the backup rings of the three adapters and install them on the adapters.

 (3)  
Install the three adapters in the ports of the shuttle valve.
