Remove the autobrake control panel, P247, from the P8 control stand with these steps:
(a)
Turn the cam lock fasteners on each side of the panel, and pull the panel from the P8 control stand.
(b)
Disconnect the connectors DM247 and DS127 behind the module.

(3)
Remove the switch from the panel with these steps:
(a)
Disconnect the set screw and remove the switch knob.
(b)
Remove the lightplate from the panel.
(c)
Disconnect the four screws that hold the switch and the switch plate to the panel, and remove the autobrake selector switch with the switch plate.
(d)
Disconnect the three screws that hold the switch plate to the switch, and remove the switch from the switch plate.

D. Procedure
S 424-011
(1)
Install the autobrake selector switch in the panel with these steps:
(a)
Install the autobrake selector switch onto the switch plate with three screws, and tighten the screws.
(b)
Apply sealant to the threads of each screw, used to attach the switch plate to the panel.
(c)
Install the switch plate with the autobrake selector switch to the panel with four screws, and tighten the screws.
(d)
Install the lightplate on the panel.
(e)
Install the knob on the switch post, and tighten the set screw.

(2)
Install the Autobrake Control Panel into the Pilots' Control Stand, P8, with these steps:
(a)
Connect the connectors, DM247 and DS127, behind the module.
(b)
Put the module into its position in the P8 stand, and tighten the fasteners.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
