Release the parking brake, and make sure the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET on EICAS goes out.
(g)
Push on the first officer's right and left pedals and pull the parking brake handle. 1) Make sure that the parking brake engages. 2) Make sure the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET shows on
EICAS.
3) Make sure the pressure gage on the brake and the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage on the P1 panel show the same pressure (|100 psi).
4) Make sure the amber (PARKING BRAKE SET) and red (BRAKE ON) indicator lights on the P37 panel are on. 5) Make sure the blue (BRAKE OFF) indicator light is off.
(h)
Release the parking brake. 1) Make sure the EICAS message PARKING BRAKE SET on EICAS goes out. 2) Make sure the amber (PARKING BRAKE SET) and red (BRAKE ON)
indicator lights on the P37 panel go out. 3) Make sure the blue (BRAKE OFF) indicator light comes on.
(i)
Push the BRAKE ON and the PARKING BRAKE SET lights on the nose landing gear.
(j)
Make sure the BRAKE ON and the PARKING BRAKE SET lights come on.

Remove pressure from hydraulic system No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Continue to do a test on the parking brake operation:
(a)
Push the two brake pedals, again and again, until the pressure becomes stable below 900 psig. This pressure is shown on the HYD BRAKE PRESS gage on the P1-4 panel.
(b)
Push on the captain's right and left brake pedals and pull the parking brake handle. 1) Make sure that the PARKING BRAKE SET light on the nose gear
is on. 2) Make sure that the BRAKE ON and the BRAKE OFF lights on the nose gear are off.

(c) (d) Push the BRAKE OFF light on the nose gear. 1) Make sure the BRAKE OFF light comes on.Release the parking brake.
(5) S 865-031Pressurize hydraulic system No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).
(6) S 735-032Continue to do a test on the parking brake operation: (a) Make sure the EICAS message PARK BRK VALVE does not show on the lower EICAS display.
NOTE:____ If the EICAS message PARK BRK VALVE shows, you must erase it. Use the CMC present leg faults erase function to erase the message.
(7) S 865-033Open this circuit breaker: (a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6L18 PARK BRAKE
(8) S 735-022Continue the test of parking brake operation: (a) Make sure the EICAS message PARK BRK VALVE shows on the lower EICAS display.
NOTE:____ The message will show approximately 64 seconds after you open the PARK BRAKE circuit breaker.
(9) S 865-021Close this circuit breaker: (a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6L18 PARK BRAKE

Erase the EICAS message PARK BRK VALVE.

(11) Do a test of the parking brake switch, S313, in the MAWEA circuit (WDM 31-51-17 and WDM 32-44-11).
