1. General_______
A. If you replace the standby hydraulic pump because of a mechanical malfunction, do the following:
B. Remove and clean the filter bowls.
C. Replace the filter elements in the pressure and the case drain filters.

Remove the pressure from the standby reservoir (Ref 29-09-00/201).

(2)
Open the applicable circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6-11 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL
2) ELEC HYD PUMP SYS B
(b)
P6-12 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) STBY HYD PUMP (ALT)
2) ELEC HYD PUMP SYS A
S 034-042
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU PULL DOWN ON THE KNURLED RING OF THE
_______ SELF-SEAL DISCONNECT BEFORE YOU TURN IT FOR REMOVAL. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS, TOO MUCH TORQUE WILL BE NECESSARY TO TURN THE RING WHICH WILL DAMAGE THE SELF-SEAL DISCONNECT.
(3) Disconnect the pump supply line at the quick-disconnect on the standby reservoir.

D. Remove the Hydraulic Pump Assembly

Disconnect the electrical connector for the hydraulic pump.

Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the pump.

Put a container below the pump to catch hydraulic fluid.

Clean hydraulic fluid if it gets on the airplane (Ref 12-40-00/201).

Install the protective caps.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the pump assembly.
