CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE RESERVOIR MOUNTING SURFACES ARE CLEAN AND
_______ UNWANTED MATERIAL DOES NOT GO INTO THE RESERVOIR OR THE HYDRAULIC LINES. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Make sure there are no unwanted materials on the reservoir surfaces and in the reservoir or the hydraulic lines.

(2)
Install the standby reservoir:
(a)
Apply assembly lube or hydraulic fluid to the O-rings.
(b)
Apply assembly lube or hydraulic fluid to the threads of the check valve and all unions, reducers and couplings.
(c)
Install the O-rings, quick-disconnect, check valve, unions and reducers in the reservoir ports if they are not installed.
(d)
Put the reservoir in its mounting position.
(e)
Install the reservoir to the mounting assembly with the fasteners.
(f)
Install the low quantity switch.
(g)
Connect the electrical connector.

(4) Make sure the STANDBY HYD LOW QUANTITY (P5), FLT CONT (P2) and left and right MASTER CAUTION (P2) lights are on.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE DISCONNECT POPPET IS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU INSTALL
_______ THE HOSE HALF OF THE SELF-SEAL DISCONNECT. IF TOO MUCH TORQUE IS NECESSARY TO DO THE INSTALLATION, DISCONNECT THE SELF-SEAL DISCONNECT AND AGAIN MAKE SURE THE POPPET IS STRAIGHT. AFTER THE INSTALLATION, MAKE SURE THE INDICATOR PINS EXTEND A MINIMUM OF 0.06 INCH. IF THE INDICATOR PINS ARE NOT CORRECTLY EXTENDED, FLUID FLOW WILL BE DECREASED OR STOPPED. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RESERVOIR OR THE PUMP.

Connect the pump supply line between the reservoir and the standby pump.

Connect all other hydraulic lines to the standby reservoir.

Do the servicing for the standby and system B hydraulic reservoirs (Ref 12-12-00/301).

Remove the reservoir depressurization valve lock.
(9)
Close the system B hydraulic reservoir depressurization valve.

Pressurize the standby and system B hydraulic reservoirs (Ref 29-09-00/201).
