(3) Install the drain valve if it is not installed on the reservoir:
(a)
Apply assembly lube or hydraulic fluid to the O-ring.
(b)
Install the O-ring in the groove of the drain valve flange.
(c)
Put the drain valve on the flange.
(d)
Install the bolts.
(e)
Install the lockwire.
(f)
Put the drain valve handle in the CLOSED position.
(g)
Install the lockwire.

Apply assembly lube or hydraulic fluid to the O-rings, unions, and reducers.

Install the O-rings, unions, and reducers in the reservoir ports.

Install the hydraulic fluid quantity transmitter (Ref 29-33-12/401).
E. Procedure

(1)
Install the hydraulic reservoir:
(a)
Put the hydraulic reservoir in its mounting position.
(b)
Install the bolts.
(c)
Connect the electrical connector to the fluid quantity transmitter.
(d)
Connect all the hydraulic lines to the hydraulic reservoir.
(e)
Connect the reservoir pressurization line.
(f)
Connect the pressurization line clamp and shim.
(2)
Do the servicing for the hydraulic reservoir (Ref 12-12-00/301).
(3)
Pressurize the hydraulic reservoir (Ref 29-09-00/201).

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the standby hydraulic system reservoir.
B. The standby reservoir is installed on the keel beam between the left and right wheel wells.
