 (g)  For the No. 2 isolation valve: 1) Keep the FLIGHT CONTROL B switch in the OFF position. 2) Move the FLIGHT CONTROLS A switch between ON and OFF and operate the rudder pedals. Make sure more force is necessary to move the rudder pedals when the switch is off.
 NOTE:____ If the isolation valve is open, you will have to use approximately 60 pounds of force to move the rudder pedals to full travel. If the isolation valve is closed, you will have to use approximately 160 pounds of force.
 (3)  S 866-165AIRPLANES WITH ISOLATION VALVES FOR THE LANDING GEAR; Open them and install lockwire (Fig. 604).
 (4)  S 866-166Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers: (a) P6-11 1) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL (b) P6-11 1) STBY HYD PUMP ALT
 (5)  S 866-167Put the arm switch for the ALTERNATE FLAPS (on the P5 panel) in the OFF position.
 (6)  S 866-171Put the FLT CONTROL and SPOILER switches (on the P5 panel) in the ON position.
 (7)  S 866-228Remove hydraulic power (AMM 29-15-00/201).
 (8)  S 086-229Remove the hydraulic service cart or the ammeter equipment from the airplane.

 12. Standby Hydraulic System Internal Leak Check
____________________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  
Use this procedure to find the general internal condition of the standby hydraulic system.

 (2)  
To find the internal leakage of the standby system you will measure the flow (from the standby EMDP) before and after the standby rudder actuator is in operation. There are three procedures to measure the flow from the standby EMDP: the ammeter procedure, the flowmeter procedure, and the amp-clamp and multimeter procedure.

 NOTE: The standby rudder actuator is the only actuator that gets
____ power only from the standby EMDP. Thus, it is the only actuator that you must examine in this task
