Lubricate and install the two backup rings, and the O-ring in the filter head.

Lubricate and install the O-ring in the filter element.

Put the filter element in the filter bowl.

Lubricate the threads of the filter bowl with assembly lube or hydraulic fluid.

Position the filter bowl and filter element under the filter module. Raise the filter element from the filter bowl and press it onto the filter module outlet.

Install the filter bowl on the filter head and tighten it to 96-120 pound-inches.
(7)
Pressurize the system B reservoir (AMM 29-09-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

E. Prepare for the Removal

(1) Open the applicable circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 panel
1) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL
2) STBY HYD PUMP (ALT)
3) ELEC HYD PUMP CONT SYS A
4) ELEC HYD PUMP CONT SYS B

(2) Release the pressure from the applicable hydraulic reservoir (AMM 29-09-00/201).
NOTE: The standby reservoir is pressurized through the system B

reservoir.
F. Procedure

(1) Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the case drain filter.
(a) Put caps on the hydraulic lines.

(2) Remove bolts that attach the case drain filter to the airplane, and remove the case drain filter.
