D. Procedure
S 212-017
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT UNWANTED MATERIAL DOES NOT GO INTO THE MODULE
_______ HOUSING OR THE HYDRAULIC LINES DURING THE INSTALLATION. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Make sure unwanted material does not go into the module housing or the hydraulic lines.

(2)
Install the O-rings and the unions in the module unit ports.

(3)
Apply assembly lube or hydraulic fluid to the O-rings and the threads of the unions and the reducers.

(4)
Make sure the check valve is installed in port 4.

(5)
Make sure a plug is installed on port 5 with a lockwire.

Put the standby pressure module in its mounting position.

Install the bolts.

Remove the plugs from the hydraulic lines.

Connect the hydraulic lines to the port fittings.

Connect the electrical connectors to the leading edge flap standby drive shutoff valve, the low pressure switch and the standby rudder actuator shutoff valve.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

Pressurize the system B and the standby hydraulic reservoirs (Ref 29-09-00/201).

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Pressurize the standby hydraulic system.
(a)
Put the FLT CONTROL A switch or the FLT CONTROL B switch, on the P5 panel, to STDBY RUD.
(b)
Put the ALTERNATE FLAPS arm switch, on the P5 panel, to ARM.
WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE RUDDER
AND THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS BEFORE PRESSURIZATION.
THE RUDDER AND THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE
QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO
EQUIPMENT.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE RUDDER,
_______ THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND THE SLATS BEFORE OPERATION. THE RUDDER, THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND THE SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(15) Operate the leading edge flaps and slats and the rudder.
(a)
Operate the rudder to full travel slowly a minimum of three times.
(b)
Put the FLT CONTROL switch used to ON.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ TRAILING EDGE (TE) FLAPS AND THE LEADING EDGE (LE) FLAPS AND SLATS BEFORE YOU OPERATE THE ALTERNATE FLAPS CONTROL SWITCH. THE TE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THE LE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE MORE QUICKLY THAN THE TE FLAPS. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(c)
Put the ALTERNATE FLAPS control switch to DOWN.
(d)
Put the ALTERNATE FLAPS control switch to OFF when the trailing edge flaps are extended to 10 degrees.
