Remove power from hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Make sure these switches, on the P5 panel, are in the OFF position:

 (a)  
ELEC 1 HYD PUMPS B

 (b)  
FLT CONTROL B

 (c)  
ALTERNATE FLAPS

 

 E.  Remove the Pressure Switch
 S 034-014
 (1)  
Disconnect the electrical connector.

 (2)  
Disconnect the hydraulic line.

 (3)  
Drain hydraulic fluid into a container.

 (4)  
Clean all hydraulic fluid from the installation area if it is necessary (AMM 12-40-00/201).

 (5)  
Remove the mounting bolts.

 (1)  
Clean the mounting surfaces (AMM 20-10-34/701).

 (2)  
Install the EDP pressure switch.

Install the mounting bolts.

 (4)  
Connect the hydraulic line.

 (5)  
Make sure the bond is 0.008 ohms maximum between the pressure switch and the mounting bracket (SWPM 20-20-00).

 (6)  
Connect the electrical connector.

Do the functional test:

 (a)  
Pressurize the hydraulic reservoirs (AMM 29-09-00/201).

 (b)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (c)  
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags: 1) P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel a) PTU/LG BYP V CONT 2
