Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
1) P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
a) PTU/LG BYP V CONT 1
b) NOSE GEAR AIR/GND
(e)
Pressurize the hydraulic system B by motoring the right hand engine (AMM 29-15-00/201).
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ LEADING FLAPS AND SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(f)
Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent.
(g)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
a) NOSE GEAR AIR/GND
(h)
Remove the power from hydraulic system B (EDP) (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(i)
Make sure the PTU control valve opens.
(j)
Close this circuit breaker:
1) P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
a) NOSE GEAR AIR/GND
(k)
Make sure that the PTU control valve closes.
(l)
Examine the EDP pressure switch and connection for leaks.
(m)
Remove power from hydraulic system A (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(n)
Do the servicing of system B reservoir if it is necessary (AMM 12-12-00/301).
D. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Pressurize hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

HYDRAULIC PRESSURE INDICATING SYSTEM - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General (Fig. 1)_______
A. The hydraulic pressure indicating system shows the pressure that is in the two main hydraulic systems to the pilots. The pilots see the pressure on the pressure indicators. The pressure indicators get their signals electrically from the pressure transmitters.
B. The system uses 28 volt ac electrical power from the transfer bus through the circuit breakers on the P6 panel.
2. System Pressure Transmitter (Fig. 1)___________________________
A. There is a pressure transmitter on the left and right side of the forward bulkhead of the main wheel well. The pressure transmitters are downstream of the A and B system pressure modules, thus they read the system pressure. The transmitter changes the pressure into an electrical signal and sends the signal to the pressure indicator.
