Do the functional test:

 (a)
Pressurize the hydraulic reservoirs (AMM 29-09-00/201).

 (b)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (c)  
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags: 1) P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel a) PTU/LG BYP V CONT 2 2) P6-11 Circuit Breaker Panel a) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL

 3)  P6-12 Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) STBY HYD PUMP (ALT)


 (d)  
Make sure that these circuit breakers are closed:

 1)  P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) PTU/LG BYP V CONT 1
 b) NOSE GEAR AIR/GND


 (e)  
Pressurize hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 


 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (f)  
Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent.

 (g)
Remove power from hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 (h)  
Pressurize hydraulic system A (AMM 29-15-00/201).


 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE AUTOMATICALLY. THIS CAN OCCUR WHEN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS PRESSURIZED, THE TRAILING EDGE FLAPS ARE IN POSITION 1, 2, OR 5, AND THE NOSE OR MAIN LANDING GEAR AIR/GROUND RELAYS SENSE AN AIRBORNE CONDITION. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (i)  Open this cicuit breaker:
 1)  P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) NOSE GEAR AIR/GND

 (j)  
Make sure that the PTU control valve opens.

 (k)  
Close this circuit breaker:

 1)  P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
 a) NOSE GEAR AIR/GND


 (l)  
Make sure that the PTU control valve closes.

 (m)  
Examine the PTU control valve and all connections for leaks.

 (n)  
Remove power from hydraulic system A (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 (o)  
Do the servicing for the system A reservoir if it is necessary (AMM 12-12-00/301).


 D.  Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
 S 864-023
 (1)  Pressurize hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).
 S 864-028
 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING
_______ EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Move the flap control lever to the FLAP UP detent.

 S 864-025

 (3)  
Remove power from hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 S 864-026

 (4)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) PTU/LG BYP V CONT 2


 (b)  
P6-11 Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL


 (c)  
P6-12 Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) STBY HYD PUMP (ALT)
