(4)
Install lockwire on the pump mounting bolts.
S 644-013
(5)
Lubricate the O-rings and the reducers with assembly lube or hydraulic fluid.
S 434-014
(6)
Install the O-rings and the reducers in the pump ports (if they are not already installed).
S 114-015
(7)
Clean the pump mounting bolts, the washers, and the contact surfaces (Ref 20-10-34/701).
S 864-016
(8)
Fill the pump approximately half full with hydraulic fluid through the supply port.
E. Install the Hydraulic Pump Assembly (Fig. 401)
S 864-017
(1) Put the hydraulic pump assembly in its position and install the mounting bolts.
NOTE: The pump mounting bolts, the washers, and the contact
____ surfaces must be clean to supply a sufficient electrical ground.
S 434-018
(2) Connect the supply line, the pressure line and the case drain line to the hydraulic pump.
S 434-043
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE DISCONNECT POPPET IS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU
_______ INSTALL THE HOSE HALF OF THE SELF-SEAL DISCONNECT. IF TOO MUCH TORQUE IS NECESSARY TO DO THE INSTALLATION, DISCONNECT THE SELF-SEAL DISCONNECT AND AGAIN MAKE SURE THE POPPET IS STRAIGHT. AFTER THE INSTALLATION, MAKE SURE THE INDICATOR PINS EXTEND A MINIMUM OF 0.06 INCH. IF THE INDICATOR PINS ARE NOT CORRECTLY EXTENDED, FLUID FLOW WILL BE DECREASED OR STOPPED. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RESERVOIR OR THE PUMP.
(3)
Connect the supply line at the quick disconnect on the reservoir.
(4)
Install the electrical connector.
