 *[1]  There are approximately 20 drops in a cubic centimeter or 75600 drops
 in a gallon. *[2] Make sure the connection is tightened to the correct torque. *[3] A static seal is a seal between two parts that don't move relative to each
 other (Example: Manifold cover, pump housing cover). *[4] A dynamic seal is a seal between two parts that move relative to each other (Example: Piston rod seal, pump shaft seal, swivel seal).
 *[5]  The center vent on the rudder PCU is actually the drain for two dynamic seals. Thus, when evaluating leakage from the center vent at the rudder PCU, all dynamic seal limits can be doubled.

 3. Prepare for an Internal Leak Check

 A. Special Tools and Equipment
 (1)  
Cable Assembly, Hydraulic Leak Check - F80135-1, or equivalent (Fig. 602)

 (2)  
Digital multimeter - Model 8024B, John Fluke Mfg. Co. Inc., Redmond, WA.

 (3)  
Amp-Clamp Adapter, AC Current - Model 80i-600, John Fluke Mfg. Co. Inc., Redmond, WA (used with digital multimeter)

 B. Standard Tools and Equipment
 (1)  
AC Ammeter - Amp ranges 0-25 and 0-50 with a short circuit selector switch. The switch contacts must be the make-before-break type to prevent arcing when you switch them. The meter scales most be accurate to 0.10 amp on the 0-25 scale and 0.20 amp on the 0-50 scale

 (2)  
Flowmeter - that can measure flows of 50 to 20,000 cc/min (a remote readout that you can put in the control cabin makes the job easier)

 (3)  
Hydraulic service cart - 0 to 3000 psi
