Apply assembly lube or hydraulic fluid to the O-ring and backup rings.

(2)
Install the O-ring and the backup rings in the low pressure switch.

(3)
Apply assembly lube or hydraulic fluid to the threads of the low pressure switch.

(4)
Remove the plug from the standby pressure module.

(5)
Install the low pressure switch.
(a)
Tighten the low pressure switch to 50-200 pound-inches.
(b)
Install a lockwire.

(6) Install the electrical connector on the low pressure switch.
D. Do a Check on the Low Pressure Switch

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) P6-3 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) INDICATOR MASTER DIM BUS SECT 4

Put the FLT CONTROL A or B switch, on the P5 panel, to the STDBY RUD position.

Make sure the STANDBY HYD LOW PRESSURE light, on the P5 panel, comes on.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
P6-11 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL
(b)
P6-12 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) STBY HYD PUMP (ALT)

Make sure the STANDBY HYD LOW PRESSURE light goes off.

Put the FLT CONTROL A or B switch to the ON position.
(8)
Make sure the STANDBY HYD LOW PRESSURE light stays off.
(9)
Remove electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
