(c) Push the key for MAINT (LSK 6R). (d) Push the key for DFCS (LSK 2L). (e) Push the key for the NEXT PAGE (CDU key). (f) Push the key for RIGGING (LSK 2L). (g) Ignore the TURN OFF HYD SYS A & B instruction and push the key for CONTINUE.

Push the key for AILERON (LSK 1R).

 (i)  
Push the key for CONTINUE after you see the WARNING
 instructions.


 (j)  
Ignore the surface test instructions, and push the key for CONTINUE.

 (k)  
Ignore the set the aileron trim to 0 degrees and set the flaps to 1 unit instructions. Push the key for CONTINUE.

 (l)  
The FMC-CDU displays engage A/P A to CMD. Engage the A autopilot to CMD.

 (m)  
The FMC-CDU displays engage A/P B to CMD. Engage the B autopilot to CMD.

 (10) Stop until the flow is stable.
 (a)  
Read the amperage or the flow value for hydraulic system A and write it on Fig. 605 for step 9 (A Aileron actuator + Elevator actuator + Basic reference with isolation valves open).

 (b)  
Read the amperage or the flow value for hydraulic system B and write it on Fig. 605 for step 10 (B Aileron actuator + Elevator actuator + Basic reference with isolation valves open).

 Close the No. 1 through No. 6 isolation valves (in the tail compartment).

Subtract the step 3 flow from the step 2 flow and write this for step 5 (A Aileron autopilot actuator leakage).

Subtract the step 4 flow from the step 1 flow and write this for step 6 (B Aileron autopilot actuator leakage).

 (c)  
Subtract the step 8 flow and the step 5 flow from the step 9 flow. Write this for step 11 (A Elevator autopilot actuator leakage)

 (d)  
Subtract the step 7 flow and the step 6 flow from the step 10 flow. Write this for step 12 (B Elevator autopilot actuator leakage)

 9.  Internal Leak Check for the Rudder Power Control Unit (Procedure 5)____________________________________________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  
Use this procedure to find the internal leakage of the rudder power control unit for hydraulic systems A or B.

 (2)  
You must find the changes in the flow of hydraulic fluid (during different conditions of operation) to find the internal leakage rate for each part. There are three procedures to measure the flow: the ammeter procedure, the flowmeter procedure, and the amp-clamp and multimeter procedure.
