(b)
Read the amperage or the flow value and write it on the data sheet for step 16.
(c)
Put the yaw damper switch (on the P5 panel) in the OFF position.

(25) Do these steps to find the leakage of the feel computer for the elevator:
(a)
Open the No. 4 isolation valve (in the tail compartment).
(b)
Read the amperage or the flow value and write it on the data sheet for step 17.

(b) Remove hydraulic power from system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(c) Move the reverse thrust lever forward and down.
(d) Wait at least 15 seconds but no more than 90 seconds and supply
hydraulic power to system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).
NOTE:____ The thrust reverser will now stow but the control valve
will be timed out and remain open.
(e)
Wait 25 to 30 seconds and record the amperage or the flow value on the data sheet for step 18.
(f)
Cycle the thrust reverser to reset the control valve.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES. THE AILERONS, RUDDER, ELEVATOR, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(30)
Supply hydraulic power to system A.

If you use the ammeter or amp-clamp method do this step:
NOTE: This amperage is the System A Basic Current, and must
____ be subtracted from all other system A amperage readings before you use Fig. 603 to find the equivalent flow.
(a) Read the amperage and write it on the data sheet for step 19.
NOTE: Write down a flow value of zero for step 19.
____
S 976-248
(33) If you use the flow meter method, read the flow value and write it on the data sheet for step 19.
