 Operate the rudder full travel in each direction for a minimum of three times.
 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE RUDDER 
 AND THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS.  THE RUDDER AND THE 
 LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY.  THIS CAN CAUSE 
 INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (a) Make sure the STDBY HYD LOW QUANTITY light stays off.

 Do a check of the standby reservoir and all connections for leaks.

Release pressure from the hydraulic reservoir (Ref 29-09-00/201).

Get access to the applicable system filter module on the forward wall of the main wheel well.

Remove the return filter element:
 (a)  
Remove the locknut from the coupling band.
 (b)  
Remove the coupling band.
 (c)  
Remove the filter bowl.
 (d)  
Remove the filter element.
 (e)  
Discard the filter element.
 (5)  
Fully clean the filter bowl.
