Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6-11 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL
(b)
P6-12 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) STBY HYD PUMP (ALT)

(4) Put the ALTERNATE FLAPS arm switch to the ARM position.
(a) Make sure the STANDBY HYD LOW PRESSURE light, on the P5 panel, comes on.

(5) Install the hydraulic test bench:
(a)
Disconnect the pressure hose of the standby pump at the disconnect half on the aft bulkhead.
(b)
Attach the pressure hose of the hydraulic test bench to the disconnect half on the aft bulkhead.
(c)
Attach the return hose for the hydraulic test bench to the return port of the hydraulic system B ground service.

(6) Slowly increase the hydraulic pressure.
(a) Make sure the STANDBY HYD LOW PRESSURE light goes off between 1100 and 1600 psi.

(7) Slowly decrease the pressure.
(a) Make sure the STANDBY HYD LOW PRESSURE light comes on at 1500 to 1000 psi.

(8) Remove the hydraulic test bench:
(a) Remove the pressure hose of the hydraulic test bench from the disconnect half on the aft bulkhead.

Connect the pressure hose of the standby pump to the disconnect half on the aft bulkhead.
(c)
Disconnect the return hose of the hydraulic test bench from the hydraulic system B ground service module.

A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the hydraulic systems A and B EDP low pressure switch.
B. There is a low pressure switch for each engine driven pump on the systems A and B pressure modules.
