1. General_______
A. The No. 1 and the No. 2 engine-driven pumps are the same.
B. The pump line connections have self-sealing disconnects to prevent the leakage of hydraulic fluid, and to keep air out of the hydraulic system.

Remove hydraulic power from the applicable hydraulic system (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Release the pressure from the hydraulic reservoirs
(AMM 29-09-00/201).

Open the fan cowl panel for the left side of the applicable engine (AMM 71-11-02/201).
(4)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the pump.
(5)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the pump.

NOTE: Some fluid leakage can occur from the pump.

Put caps on the hydraulic fittings on the pump.

Remove the QAD clamp.
