 (a)  Disconnect the input rod from the input crank and the torque tube (Fig. 607). Remove the input rod.
 NOTE: Keep the bolts and the input rod.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL

 NOTE:____On some airplanes, the rudder may move slowly. If the rudder moves, do not take the amperage reading until the rudder has stopped moving.
