D. Procedure
S 215-009
(1) Make sure the four LOW PRESSURE lights for the HYD PUMPS (on the P5 panel) are on.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THE AILERONS, RUDDER, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Put the HYD PUMPS A ELEC 2 switch (to do a test of system A) or the HYD PUMPS B ELEC 1 switch (to do a test of system B) in the ON position.
(a)
Make sure the pressure for the applicable hydraulic system becomes stable between 2800 and 3200 psig.
(b)
Make sure the applicable LOW PRESSURE light goes out.

(3) Put the switch in the OFF position.
(a) Operate the rudder until the hydraulic pressure is zero. 1) Make sure the LOW PRESSURE light comes on.

Put the HYD PUMPS A ENG 1 switch (to do a test of system A) or the HYD PUMPS B ENG 2 switch (to do a test of system B) in the ON position.

Motor or operate the applicable engine (Ref 71-00-00/201).
(a)
Make sure the applicable LOW PRESSURE light goes out.
(b)
With the engine at idle speed or faster, make sure the pressure in the applicable hydraulic system is 2900 - 3200 psig.

(6) Put the switch in the OFF position.
(a) Operate the rudder until the hydraulic pressure is zero. 1) Make sure the LOW PRESSURE light comes on.

(7) Stop the engine (Ref 71-00-00/201).
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).
