 HYDRAULIC FLUID QUANTITY INDICATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is to remove the hydraulic fluid quantity indicator. The second task is to install the hydraulic fluid quantity indicator.
 B.  The hydraulic fluid quantity indicators are found on the lower part of the P3-1 panel. The indicators are installed into the panel from the front and are held in position with clamps. There is an indicator for hydraulic system A and system B.

 (1)  Location Zone
 101/102 Control Cabin

 B.  Procedure
 S 864-002
 (1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  
P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel 1) For hydraulic system A indicator: a) SYS A HYD OIL QTY

 2)  For Hydraulic system B indicator: a) SYS B HYD OIL QTY

 (b)  
P42 Five Volt Lighting Panel
 1) 5V AC SEC XFMR

 

 S 024-013
 (2)  Loosen the adjustment screw for the indicator clamp.
 NOTE: The clamp adjustment screw is the larger screw found to the
____
 right of the indicator.

Pull the indicator out from the instrument panel to get access to the electrical connector.

 (4)  
Disconnect the electrical connector.

 (5)  
Remove the hydraulic fluid quantity indicator.
