(1) Install the filter element:
(a)
Apply assembly lube or hydraulic fluid to the O-rings.
(b)
Install the O-rings.
(c)
Put the filter element in the filter bowl.
(d)
Install the filter bowl in the filter head.
(e)
Install the coupling band around the filter bowl and the filter head.
(f)
Tighten the coupling band to 120-144 pound-inches ( for filter assembly from Pall Aeropower Corp.) or 60-70 pound-inches (for filter assembly from PTI Technologies).

Push the differential pressure indicator if it is necessary.

Pressurize the hydraulic reservoirs (Ref 29-09-00/201).
(4)
Examine the filter module for leaks.
(5)
Do the servicing for the hydraulic reservoir (Ref 12-12-00/301).

Remove power from the hydraulic system (Ref 29-15-00/201).

Release pressure from the hydraulic reservoir (Ref 29-09-00/201).

Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the filter module.

Drain the hydraulic fluid into a container.

Clean all hydraulic fluid from the installation area if it is necessary (Ref 12-40-00/201).

Install plugs on the disconnected hydraulic line.

Remove the mounting bolts.

Remove the filter module.
